CROSS Illustration Contest
My friend Mario Miranda told me about this pen and ink illustration contest. I thought what the heck, and here's what I came up with. It honestly isn't something special, but it's kinda new for me. I think I found a new technique of working that is lots of fun. No Photoshop or tablets, just a set of old drawing tools, pen and ink.

I totally dig the embracing of actual media. I'm sure that digital art, while fun and neat, can't replace the things you get using actual media. This is a really fun piece, and expertly executed, especially for a first attempt at inking!
