honk if you want to kiss me!!!

hi friends. i did my first oil painting yesterday. i guess it's called plein air painting. took bout 1hr 30mn, something like that. twas freakin fun, the most fun i've had, art wise, in a long time. it's nothing AMAZING but i rather like it...has a good mood...

this is something i did super fast. the photo i took on a road trip back from Missouri with my bro and sis. again, nothin CRAZY, just some fun...

hands. i love hands. the first one is my grandpa's hand. it looks evil don't it. but it really aint. he's a farmer with one arm. the one he has left looks like this. the next one is my sister. she was feeding a cow, pulled it out of the mouth and had gross goo attached to it. i think i captured it pretty good. had to use my slick manual focus agility to get it in time...she didn't like the way the slime felt.

anyways, cheers friends...xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxx honk if you want to kiss me!!!

Yeah, if that's what your first oil painting looks like, the fourth and fifth will be absolutely mind-blowing.:)
(No, seriously, it's really sweet. It looks like California light. I mean...the light in California. Not California with the fat taken out. Because then it would no longer be tasty...nevermind...)
